About PBS Legal, LLC

“I have been licensed to practice law in New York and Massachusetts since 1998 (before law, I was an over the road trucker for 12 years). Prior to taking the bar examinations I served as a clerk for a Federal Magistrate in New Jersey, an Investigator for a Public Defender’s office in Vermont, a Secretary for a small town Lawfirm in New Hampshire, and as a law clerk for a Plaintiff’s Injury firm in Albany NY. My first job as a lawyer was as in-house litigation counsel to a large national insurance firm. Next I served as a Litigator at the Plaintiff’s Injury firm in Albany NY where I had clerked earlier. I then worked at a three-attorney office in Pittsfield, MA learning general practice. That took me through 2009. At the beginning of 2010 I started my own practice from scratch and began to slowly build. In January 2019 a good friend, Hon. Stephen E. Cooper of Cooper & Cooper in the village of Nassau, NY asked me to take control of his business as he was fighting a serious illness. Unfortunately Steve passed in August of 2018 and I have operated this office since that time.”

Elena

My talented assistant Elena is the office “Secret weapon” when it comes to real estate closings. She has some twenty years experience as a freelance bank closer, and her stable of connections in the real estate world is seemingly endless. Elena is expanding her experience into estate practice, and it looks to me as though she is going to make an excellent lawyer in the future.
